Compresto is a native macOS app that compresses videos, images, GIFs and PDFs in batches, with everything processed offline. It was previously called CompressX.

**Key features:**

- Shrink MP4 and MOV videos with hardware-accelerated compression.
- Compress JPEG, PNG and WebP images and cut GIF file sizes.
- Make image-heavy PDFs small enough to email.
- Process hundreds of files at once with queuing and progress tracking.
- Watch folders and compress new files as soon as they arrive.
- Drop files on a floating Drop Zone, turn videos into GIFs, or start compression from Raycast.

Compresto runs on Intel and Apple silicon Macs with macOS 13 or later, and your files never leave your device. A one-time Personal license costs $49 for one Mac and Standard costs $69 for two, both with lifetime updates.
