Keka is a file archiver for Mac that both creates and extracts archives. You can compress files by dropping them on its Dock icon without opening the app.

**Key features:**

- Create 7Z, ZIP, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, XZ, DMG, ISO, ZSTD, and other archives.
- Extract RAR, 7Z, ZIP, ZIPX, EXE, CAB, MSI, and many more formats.
- Protect archives with a password, using AES-256 encryption for 7z files.
- Split large files into pieces that rejoin into the original.
- Make Keka the default extraction app with the free KekaExternalHelper.

Keka is free to download from its website, and the identical Mac App Store version costs $6.49 to support development. The App Store version requires macOS 10.10 or later, and legacy versions are available for older Macs.
