Keychron Q1 Max is a full-metal 75% mechanical keyboard with a knob that connects over 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, or a cable. It's designed with Mac users in mind and ships with both Mac and Windows keycaps.

Key features:

  • Connect over 2.4 GHz with a 1000 Hz polling rate, over Bluetooth 5.1 to up to three devices, or wired.
  • Swap Gateron Jupiter Brown, Red, or Banana switches without soldering.
  • Remap keys and record macros with QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web app.
  • Flip the system toggle between Mac and Windows and keep a separate layout for each.
  • Type on a gasket-mounted CNC aluminum body with layered acoustic foams and double-shot PBT keycaps.
  • Get up to 180 hours from the 4000 mAh battery.

The keyboard uses an ANSI layout with south-facing RGB backlighting and weighs about 1.7 kg fully assembled. Launcher needs Chrome, Opera, or Edge and a wired connection, and Bluetooth mode polls at 90 Hz. It costs $229.99 fully assembled, and a barebone version without switches and keycaps is also sold.
