LM Studio is a desktop app for downloading and running open large language models on your own computer. Its current version, LM Studio Bionic, adds an agent for documents, code, and automation, for people who want local AI that keeps their data on their machine.

Bionic+ costs $20/month and adds US-hosted open source models such as Kimi K3 and GLM 5.3 plus full web search, and Pro costs $100/month with five times the usage limits. Cloud services use zero data retention.
