MacWhisper turns audio and video into text on your Mac using OpenAI's Whisper and other speech models. Because transcription runs locally and no data leaves your machine, it suits sensitive recordings like interviews.

MacWhisper supports macOS 14 Sonoma and later and works best on M-series Macs, though it also runs on Intel.
