Yoink is a drag-and-drop helper for Mac that gives you a temporary shelf for files and app content. It appears at the edge of the screen when you start dragging, so you can let go and navigate to the destination with your mouse free.

**Key features:**

- Drop files from Finder or content such as text and images from apps onto the shelf, then drag them out wherever you need them.
- Move and copy files exactly like Finder, holding Option to force a copy or Command to force a move.
- Choose where and when the shelf appears, including at your mouse cursor, and ignore apps where you don't need it.
- Use one keyboard shortcut to show the shelf, long-press it to recall recent items, or double-press it to save your clipboard.
- Keep a clipboard history, with popular password managers excluded by default.
- Add items through system services, a Quick Action, the Share extension, Terminal, Automator, or Shortcuts.
- Send files between Macs, iPads, and iPhones with Handoff, or straight from your iPhone camera with Continuity Camera.

Requires macOS 10.13 or later. Yoink is a one-time purchase of $8.99 (9,99 € / £8.99) on the Mac App Store or the developer's website, with a free trial, and it's also available through Setapp; all versions have the same features. Handoff with iOS needs the separate Yoink app for iPhone and iPad.
